Rock am Ring festival 2022 livestream

On 3–5 June, RTL+ will stream the Rock am Ring festival free of charge via the RTLplus.de website and the RTL+ app for premium subscribers. Rock am Ring 2018 will feature 70 acts, including headliners Green Day, Muse, and Volbeat. Established in 1985, the festival has previously hosted acts such as David Bowie, The Fugees, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and Metallica. Its offshoot Rock im Park (capacity 75,000) opened in 1997. Eventim Live managing director Dr Frithjof Pils said, “After an enforced two-year break, this Rock am Ring festival promises to be extra special. It’s great that we can now share this experience with even more people. Our partnership with RTL+ underscores our strategic objective to massively grow Eventim Brand Connect as a business segment in the near future.

RTL+ programme director Frauke Neeb said, “We are in the process of growing RTL+ into Germany’s largest entertainment platform, where we will also be offering an extensive range of music to stream in the future.”

That's great that there will be more livestreams. I'm looking forward to it! Although I don't know half the bands playing Rock am Ring, Muse sounds like fun. Haven't heard them in ages. Hopefully this new monkeypox outbreak won't ruin our summer music festivals. We've been through enough with covid. Monkeypox is not expected to cause another pandemic like Covid-19. Even if we see an increase in cases over the summer, I think we can still contain it as we did in 2017 and in years past. Monkeypox is not easily spread between people, which is a good thing. In fact, some people do not spread monkeypox at all. It seems like all I talk about is viruses, lol. This is a music blog! So, let's keep it that way.
