It's a sad day for music television. I remember watching MTV News with Kurt Loder years ago. It's hard to believe he's 77 now! Where's my rewind button? I want it now pleasssssssssssse! The layoffs are also sad. Most people have good retirements after working for 30+ years at a company. Those who haven't been working there for that length of time may have it harder. I wonder if other divisions of MTV will also close? Hopefully not. It's just sad to see MTV News end.
